When I was young all I ever heard was, “You can be whatever you want to be.”  What a trap that turned out to be.  Imagine going your whole life thinking you’ve got it all figured out, only to finally get your college degree and discover that being a stripper didn’t really pay as well as a Wal-Mart manager.  Talk about having the wrong dream.  At the very least, that little piece of paper made me fluent in another tongue, sarcasm…although I fear that in a society that seems to take itself entirely to seriously, it is becoming a dying language.

My life is nothing if not a complete paradox of ideas and half truths of which I fail to decipher on a daily basis.  I am hoping that by discovering pieces as I go along,  I will eventually be able to complete the whole damn puzzle…assuming that all of the pieces are actually present like the little piece of tape on the box asserts.  500 pieces my ass.

*Warning- I have a tendency to consume man sized amounts of liquor and get ideas.  I will probably write about them.

***You get it- Sometimes I can sound incredibly sexist.  Mostly because I am, but the words that come out of mouth have the best of intentions.
